Bus Driver Application
Description: Children’s Choice is seeking a responsible and reliable individual to join our team as a Bus Driver. The primary responsibility of this position is to safely transport elementary school children on field trips with adult supervision on board.
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Hours:
- Tuesday to Friday afternoons (typically 2-6) during the school year
- Monday to Friday typically between 11:30-5:30 in the summer
Compensation: $21 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a school bus or similar vehicle to transport elementary school children to various field trip destinations.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers on board during transportation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
- Communicate effectively with school staff and chaperones to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times.
- Provide excellent customer service to both adults and children.
Requirements:
- Valid Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsement.
- Proven experience in driving a school bus or similar vehicle.
- Clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to adults and children.
- Professional, warm, and friendly demeanor.
