- Cleveland Roller Mill Museum. - This three-story adobe roller mill played a major role in the agricultural economy of Northern New Mexico for a period of 80 years. - San Miguel Mission.-San Miguel, one of the oldest mission churches in the United States, was constructed in 1625 by the Tlaxcala Indians who came to New Mexico as servants of the Spanish soldiers and missionaries. The area surrounding the church had been part of an abandoned pueblo dating back to about 1100, portions of which were built into the chapel. The church was so severely damaged in the 1680 Pueblo Revolt that when it was rebuilt in 1710, new foundations had to be laid. - E.L. Blumenschein Home & Museum. - The Ernest L Blumenschein Home and Museum beautifully represents the lifestyle of the first artists in Taos. Blumenschein arrived, by accident, in Taos in 1898, with his friend and traveling companion Bert G. Phillips. Portions of the thirteen-room home date to 1797, and contain a wonderful blend of European antiques, Spanish Colonial and regional New Mexican furniture along with an extensive collection of the Blumenschein family art and representative pieces by other members of the Taos Society of Artist.
