Job Overview:
The Logistical Support Understudy at Children’s Choice plays a vital role in fostering cross-job knowledge and understanding the operational intricacies of the Billing Manager, Registration Manager, and Financial Director roles. This position is responsible for comprehensively grasping the tasks and responsibilities associated with each role and assisting in the development of streamlined processes and procedures within these departments.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop an in-depth understanding of the operational processes and tasks associated with the Billing Manager, Registration Manager, and Financial Director roles.
2. Work closely with department heads to learn and execute the necessary job functions within the Billing, Registration, and Financial departments.
3. Provide support in customer service, data entry, and accounting tasks as required within the respective departments.
4. Align with the mission, values, and program goals of Children’s Choice to contribute to the positive development of children through out-of-school-time programming.
5. Collaborate with team members to structure and define the role, contributing to the innovative development of the position.
6. Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills to ensure smooth collaboration across various departments.
7. Cultivate a professional, warm, and friendly demeanor, building strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
8. Show self-motivation, efficiency, and a problem-solving attitude to drive operational excellence.
9. Utilize MS Word and MS Excel for various administrative and data management tasks.
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED. A Bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred.
2. Previous experience in customer service, data entry, accounting, or education.
3. A professional, warm, and friendly personality with exceptional interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to align job responsibilities with the mission, values, and program goals of Children’s Choice.
5. Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Self-motivated and efficient, with a strong problem-solving ability.
7. Familiarity with MS Word and MS Excel.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position that offers an hourly wage starting at $19.50/hour, along with comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan with a match, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and paid time off.
