Putting the Community back in Schools

Inez Elementary, a community school in Albuquerque New Mexico, hosted a Family Fun Night for all students and families of the community. 

There was free pizza, salad, and drinks provided.

There was a free clothing bank, and free school supplies that families could take home with them. For each workshop families attended, they received a raffle ticket.

Special Speaker Misti Oracion from Parents Reaching Out “Supporting Your Reader at Home” gave a workshop on reading and literacy.
