I am a proud mother of four and a former foster parent, driven by a deep
commitment to children and community. Currently, I serve as a volunteer
Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), advocating for children in
foster care and ensuring their voices are heard. After closing my
restaurant, café, and food truck, I returned to the Children’s Choice
community—first as a Site Director, and now as a Programs Coordinator.
My work is guided by a strong belief in the power of connection,
compassion, and our shared humanity.

My favorite thing about children is their curiosity and fearlessness. I
admire their honesty when expressing their feelings and their incredible
capacity for forgiveness. Children have so much to teach us as
adults—especially about kindness and empathy.

To families, I want you to know that I am deeply committed to helping
create a strong sense of community and care throughout Children’s
Choice. I believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued.

To the kids: I really enjoy getting to know you! I love learning about
your interests, what makes you laugh, and what lights you up. You
inspire me every day.
